Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our dynamic Maxillofacial Unit at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive oral surgery service, including head and neck surgical dermatology procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in out-patient and in-patient settings
  • Conduct common oral surgery procedures and head and neck surgical dermatology procedures under local anesthesia and general anesthesia
  • Participate in emergency and trauma surgery
  • Contribute to the supervision of junior staff within the department
Requirements:
  • Basic medical degree and/or basic dental degree
  • Full GMC and/or GDC registration with a license to practice
  • Four years post-graduation, with two years in the relevant specialty
  • Higher Degree
