Job Summary:

Hamilton Woods is seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to join their team in Staffordshire. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for preparing year-end and interim consolidated financial statements for our dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX controls to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and control.
  • Ensure the implementation of relevant Sarbanes-Oxley processes and controls.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of post-qualified experience in financial reporting or Audit, either within the accountancy profession or in industry.
  • Experience in producing consolidated financial statements under IFRS and exposure to the challenges of working in a global organization.
  • Oracle HFM (or other consolidation software) experience is highly desirable.
  • ACA or equivalent accounting professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
