Job Summary:

HAMILTON WOODS is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Manager to join our team in Staffordshire. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for preparing year-end and interim consolidated financial statements for our dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX controls.
  • Establish and maintain working partnerships in a global organization, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to short deadlines.
  • Produce consolidated financial statements under IFRS and manage the challenges of working in a global organization.
  • Ensure relevant Sarbanes-Oxley processes and controls are adhered to and establish good working relationships with external auditors.
  • Manage Oracle HFM (or other consolidation software) experience and ensure the smooth audit process.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of post-qualified experience in financial reporting or Audit, either within the accountancy profession or in industry.
  • Experience in producing consolidated financial statements under IFRS and exposure to the challenges of working in a global organization.
  • ACA or equivalent accounting professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
