Job Summary:

HAMILTON WOODS is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Manager to join our team in Staffordshire. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for preparing year-end and interim consolidated financial statements for our dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX controls to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Oracle HFM (or other consolidation software) to support financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of post-qualified experience in financial reporting or Audit, either within the accountancy profession or in industry.
  • Proven experience in producing consolidated financial statements under IFRS and exposure to the challenges of working in a global organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-technical stakeholders.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of £70,000 - £75,000.
