Theatre Administrative Support Specialist

Position Overview
As the initial point of contact, you will deliver a high standard of reception services within both the Main Theatres and the Day Surgery Unit.
The working hours are structured from 07:00 to 16:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with responsibilities in either the Main Theatres or the Day Surgery Unit reception.
You will receive encouragement and support to enhance your skills within the team, ensuring that an exceptional level of reception service is consistently maintained across both areas.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Be part of a dedicated team that values delivering compassionate and respectful care to patients and their families in a professional manner.
- Exhibit excellent communication abilities (both written and verbal) to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with staff at all levels across various departments, including external partners.
- Possess experience or familiarity with IT systems; however, comprehensive training will be provided to the suitable candidate.

Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language
- GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Mathematics
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in customer service
- Administrative experience
- Organizational skills
- Time management abilities
- Familiarity with IT systems, including Microsoft Excel and Word
