Position Overview:
As a key player in our organization, you will serve as the Project Manager for Product Development at SP Global Consulting LTD. This role is designed for a professional who is adept at navigating the complexities of product innovation and development within a hybrid or remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Innovation (M&I) Project Leads to oversee and drive the execution of tailored, consumer-oriented projects in the hygiene and wellbeing sector.
- Utilize project management methodologies, including Waterfall and SAFe scaled agile principles, to ensure projects progress through defined developmental gates, maintaining governance from initiation to technical sign-off.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and KPIs while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for an experienced project/program manager with a background in engineering and product development. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in managing new product development (NPD) projects, leading diverse teams within a matrix organizational structure.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to hold stakeholders accountable and drive projects to timely completion.
- High emotional intelligence, capable of navigating team dynamics and resolving conflicts effectively.

What You Will Do:
- Act as the primary Project Manager, supporting Project Leads across various initiatives.
- Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Procurement, and Quality Assurance, throughout all project phases.
- Organize and manage program increment (PI) planning events, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities (RACI) and alignment with business objectives.
- Track project progress using standard project management tools, such as Gantt charts and JIRA, to maintain focus on critical paths and deliverables.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, proactively identifying risks and issues while communicating updates to stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:
- Technical background in engineering or product development.
- Experience interacting with various job levels within an organization.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Google GSuite, MS Office, and project management software.

Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile) project management methodologies.
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ).
- Experience with JIRA for task management.
