Role Summary

The Product Manager will take charge of a dedicated segment within our traffic management product line, playing a crucial role in defining the essential technical features that drive market success while ensuring a superior customer experience. This position requires close collaboration with clients to gather insights and feedback, which will inform the development of product specifications and strategic roadmaps. Additionally, the Product Manager will be responsible for comprehensive product documentation, structuring technical content, and addressing the documentation needs of users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a segment of the traffic management product portfolio, following an initial training period.
  • Gather and document product requirements effectively.
  • Develop and maintain installation and setup documentation, including technical application notes for our clients.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate, clear, concise, consistent, and complete.
  • Manage the release and distribution of product documentation.
  • Maintain alignment between product terminology and documentation, coordinating necessary translations.
  • Engage in hands-on product testing as part of your responsibilities.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring alignment with product release timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams, communicating customer requirements and feedback to technical development teams.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in using a CMS (Content Management System) and advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Strong motivation to quickly grasp and learn complex, new technologies.
  • Ability to adapt to product changes during development while meeting release deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for regular interactions with R&D, business solutions, and technical support teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to discern between critical and non-essential technical content.
  • Willingness to thoroughly evaluate each product through hands-on experience to understand installation and setup processes.
  • Exceptional English writing skills; proficiency in German is a plus.
