About the Role
The Workshop, a leader in crafting customized products, is seeking a highly organized and adaptable individual to join our team as a Project Controller. This position is crucial for overseeing project and order management, facilitating communication between various internal departments including sales, design, manufacturing, and dispatch. The goal is to ensure that products are delivered within established timelines while addressing any issues that may arise promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and specifications.
- Utilize Production Workflow Software to analyze machinery capacity and staffing levels, creating efficient workflows that meet customer deadlines consistently.
- Generate daily production reports to monitor order status in coordination with production supervisors.
- Develop specific schedules for large orders, ensuring that each department in the production line adheres to set deadlines for timely delivery.
- Conduct daily meetings with department supervisors to align teams on daily requirements and prepare for upcoming busy periods.
- Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve issues that may impact customer deadlines, adjusting schedules as necessary.
- Maintain clear communication across all departments regarding factors that could affect delivery timelines, product quality, and customer commitments.
- Ensure the stock management system is accurately maintained and assist with monthly and quarterly stocktakes.
- Participate in monthly production meetings to report on progress and contribute to the ongoing improvement of production processes.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
Salary Range
£28,000 - £33,000
