SME Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SME Sales Manager to join our rapidly expanding business sales team at Ecotricity, Britain's greenest energy company.
The core function of this role is to expand our SME customer base in line with forecasted growth, delivering effective account management to drive new business.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver agreed individual targets in line with our overall B2B plan
- Provide quotations for both Gas and Power contracts, from the initial tender, through the negotiation and acceptance stages
- Develop and implement a contact strategy to engage with existing customers and acquire new business
- Work closely with other departments to cross-promote our company brand and products
- Propose and apply innovative solutions for the successful acquisition of new clients
- Support the launch of new products and services, taking opportunities to cross-sell where appropriate
- Follow up on internal account requests, sales and account call backs, industry queries, and general account management
- Support back-office in providing aftersales support and customer care
- Attend off-site client meetings when required
- Various standard and ad-hoc reporting to our Senior Growth Manager
We are looking for an individual with a real passion for our vision for a Green Britain, who has an energetic and dynamic approach.
You will be experienced in identifying new and existing opportunities, with a strong commercial acumen, and will work closely with all departments to secure mutual customer targets.
You will have excellent communication skills, be an innovative thinker, willing to try new approaches, and someone who really connects with our values.
Requirements- Understanding of the energy industry (desirable but not essential)
- Strong skill level in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, or similar CRM
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Packages
