Service Engineer for Medical Equipment

Just Recruitment Group Ltd is collaborating with a leading manufacturer to find a skilled Field Service Engineer to operate within the West Midlands region and its surroundings.

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the installation, commissioning, servicing, repair, breakdown, and maintenance of a diverse range of medical equipment in various healthcare settings.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both proprietary and third-party medical devices.
  • Deliver user training to clients as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding any concerns encountered during installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting visits.

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates must demonstrate experience in a field service or technical support role, preferably within a capital equipment context.

A minimum qualification of HNC level or equivalent in electrical installation, engineering, maintenance, or a related technical field is required. Electricians with a background in electrical testing and inspection are also encouraged to apply.

  • Proven experience in a technical field service team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present information clearly and logically.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to devise solutions on-site.
  • Capability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to address customer concerns.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside of regular hours as required.
  • Some overnight travel may be necessary.
