**Sales and Marketing Director Wanted**

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead our business to success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing marketing strategies, and leading a team of sales professionals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Lead and Coach a Team of Sales Professionals**: Inspire, lead, and coach a team of 6 direct reports, with further recruitment to ensure the team is equipped to drive business growth.
  • **Maximize Sales and Profits**: Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profits across all sales channels and brand strategies.
  • **Develop Strategic Sales Plans**: Work closely with the General Manager to develop strategic sales plans to deliver long-term, sustainable growth for the business.
  • **Forecasting and Stock Management**: Ensure effective forecasting for the sales team to manage stock efficiently.
  • **New Sales Channels and Opportunities**: Identify and develop opportunities for new sales channels, retailers, product categories, and brands.
  • **Customer Relationships**: Develop strategic relationships with key customers and 3rd party stakeholders.
  • **Marketing Activities**: Lead marketing activities with significant budget responsibilities across performance media, PR, social, trade marketing, and content creation.
  • **Reporting and ROI Analysis**: Develop reporting metrics to show ROI of advertising spend to maximize profitability.
  • **Industry Knowledge**: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and trade, attending relevant networking events to ensure the business is at the forefront of marketing changes.

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership position in sales, digital marketing, or ecommerce.
  • Experience working within consumer non-food and drink industries, preferably within a considered product purchase category.
  • Strong understanding and proven track record of achieving growth across D2C and Amazon.
  • Deep understanding of customers and trading experience is essential, as is the ability to demonstrate sustainable relationship building across the customer base.
  • In-depth understanding of how to measure, monitor, and motivate a Sales team both directly and via second-line management.
  • Experience of budgeting and costing, including financial planning, P&L, and ROI analysis.
  • Lead by example approach with exemplary communication skills.
  • Degree-educated.
  • Full, clean, current driving license with ability to travel.
