Divisional Sales Director - East London

As a Divisional Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of Mortgage and Protection Advisors in East London. Your primary objective will be to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a strong market presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of Mortgage and Protection Advisors to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the senior management team to outline and achieve business objectives through strategic management and leadership.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve market share.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators, including customer satisfaction, and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Services Director to deliver the financial services strategy and drive income, profitable growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a highly effective Financial Services team while embedding the core behaviors, values, and principles of the network and company.
  • Prepare and deliver the Financial Services Division income and profit budget, monitoring, reporting, and forecasting operating and financial results.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Financial Services regulation and core products, including those licensed to sell by the company.
  • Ensure that all appropriate systems and controls are implemented and followed to effectively manage key risks and maintain necessary standards.
  • Communicate regularly with the Head of Sales Quality to ensure that all necessary messages and standards are up-to-date and cascaded correctly and adhered to by all Financial Services employees.
  • Effectively handle customer complaints following the Company complaints procedure and managing business exposure.
  • Create a universal knowledge and understanding and commit to the adoption of HR processes and best practices, including recruitment & selection, training & development, activity and performance management, and employee relations.
  • Drive a culture of coaching that leads to a high-performance culture (best-in-class ethos).
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to identifying customers' apparent and underlying needs and continually seeking to provide the highest quality service.
  • Excel under pressure while working to tight deadlines and manage challenging situations & conversations.
  • Act with honesty and integrity at all times and as a long-term mentor & coach.
