Key Responsibilities

The Senior Planning Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting the team’s varied project portfolio. Responsibilities will encompass all phases of planning activities, including:

  • Preparation and submission of fee proposals and initial assessments.
  • Management of planning applications across various categories.
  • Handling planning appeals and inquiries.
  • Providing guidance on planning inquiries and policy advice.


Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial acumen and will be encouraged to cultivate their own client relationships while leading projects with financial accountability.


Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in planning at the Associate or Principal level, with a preference for private sector exposure.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK planning methodologies, regulations, and standards.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements, requiring a minimum of 37 hours per week.
