Overview

Role Summary

As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care to individuals in acute settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the Responsible Clinician for patients, overseeing the referral and admission processes.
  • Conducting pre-admission assessments to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Collaborating with a team of experienced mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

You will be instrumental in:

  • Providing expert psychiatric assessments and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Ensuring a person-centered approach to care, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
  • Participating in the development and enhancement of services within a progressive healthcare setting.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A CCST/CCT or equivalent qualification in psychiatry.
  • Significant experience in inpatient psychiatric care, particularly with complex mental health conditions.
  • A strong background at the consultant level within the healthcare sector.
