About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatric Consultant to join our team at Priory Hospital Preston. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide cross-cover to other wards as needed
  • Supervise the process of referral and admission, including contribution to pre-admission assessments
  • Work collaboratively with a team of mental health professionals and support staff to deliver person-centered care and treatment programs
  • Develop and implement services within a forward-thinking transitional environment

Requirements

  • Hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry
  • Have experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties
  • Be an excellent team player with a keen interest in developing services
  • Hold a registration with the GMC, including being on the special register for psychiatry
