We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Support Worker Higher Level to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our therapy team, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation services to patients in the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to implement rehabilitation programmes in patients' own homes, care homes, and group settings.
- Undertake independent visits to implement exercise programmes, complete mobility practice, self-care practice, provide, fit, and check equipment as requested by the therapist.
- Collaborate with statutory and voluntary services to promote and maintain independence.
- 3 A-levels or equivalent level 3 qualification(s) and Functional Skills (level 2) or As a level 3 apprenticeship, such as the Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship (or other level 3 qualification pathway).
- Experience of working in health or social care, including undertaking and recording clinical observations and escalation of changes or findings.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to adopt appropriate styles and methods of communication.
As a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will have access to leadership and improvement training, including the New and Aspiring Leaders programme and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme. You will also have opportunities for further leadership and improvement training, including in-house courses and leadership apprenticeships.
