Primary Responsibilities:
  • Execute testing and validation processes for new hardware and software to meet vehicle development schedules.
  • Formulate comprehensive test plans for vehicle electrical systems and their components.
  • Establish testing methodologies and necessary resources for effective validation.
  • Assess and validate a range of features and functionalities, from individual ECU operations to critical safety functions.
  • Oversee technical aspects of electronics-related projects with external partners and suppliers.
  • Monitor the progress of feature and function development, coordinating activities for streamlined testing and validation.
  • Assist in managing technical deliverables, including software timelines and issue tracking.
  • Engage in system evaluations, verification, and validation throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Provide assistance and training to Manufacturing and Service teams.
Qualifications and Expertise:
  • Proven experience in testing and validating vehicle systems in relevant sectors.
  • Strong understanding of electrical architectures, system networks, and diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with software architectures, testing strategies, and development environments.
  • Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, FlexRay, LIN, and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Background in project engineering, documentation, and risk assessment.
  • Capability to deliver within quality standards and manage full product lifecycle activities.
  • Self-driven professional with relevant engineering credentials.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and eligibility to work in the UK and travel within the EU.
