Design Engineer - Structures Specialist

Gordon Murray Group is a UK-based luxury brand dedicated to creating and manufacturing exceptional driving cars. Our team of experts is passionate about delivering unrivalled driving experiences and driver-centric connection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize structural components and systems for our vehicles, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and aesthetic standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate body structures into projects.
  • Work closely with materials engineers and suppliers to select and optimize materials for composite components.
  • Conduct risk assessments and FMEA to identify and mitigate potential failures.
  • Support testing and validation protocols to ensure durability, reliability, and functionality of body composite design.
  • Manage working level plans to deliver composite components on time.
Requirements
  • Experience in composite structures design and engineering.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical, automotive, aerospace engineering, or similar.
  • Knowledge of composite structures design, development, and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with relevant engineering tools and software.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
