Your expertise will be instrumental in leading project tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and making informed decisions to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and coordinate project tasks related to body interior development, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, select, and apply appropriate techniques and criteria for interior component design and integration.
* Utilize your expertise to make informed decisions and adaptations to standard practices, particularly in managing small work packages within the project scope.
* Manage and oversee defined assignments, including 3D CAD geometry development, workflow development, and project documentation preparation.
* Support various tasks across departments and functions as required, contributing to the development of schedules and budgets for project deliverables.
* Take ownership of relevant project sections related to body interior design, managing interfaces with styling and ensuring optimal occupant positioning.
* Provide project engineering oversight for full vehicle interior systems, including fascia, tunnel, seating, restraints, instrument and controls, lower and rear trim, upper trim, closure trim, and HVAC.
* Implement project management best practices, including design for manufacture and assembly principles, to ensure compliance with project objectives and legal standards.
* Lead work package assignments, conducting design sizing analysis, assembly level simulations, and cost, timing, and mass assessments.
* Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and partners, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in project engineering or related roles within the automotive industry.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management best practices.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field.
