Job PurposeThe Fundraising and Development Manager will play a crucial role in leading the fundraising strategy and driving income growth for Tempus Novo. This position is ideal for a relationship-led fundraiser who can identify, develop, and secure support from businesses and philanthropists to achieve the organization's growth plans.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to maximize income.
- Manage the fundraising pipeline, progressing prospects through the solicitation cycle.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling fundraising documents and presentations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses and philanthropists.
- Monitor income against budget and manage risk.
- Meet annual income targets.
- Manage freelance fundraisers, when required.
- Provide regular fundraising reports to the CEO and Managing Director and the Board of Trustees.
- A strong track record in developing and securing relationships that achieve fundraising results.
- Experience in account management or relationship management.
- Experience in corporate giving and/or major giving.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to maximize results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
