We're laying our foundations here at the Hastings Direct Home Claims department. We have a number of opportunities to come and join our recently formed area as a Home Claims Call Handler.
What are we looking for?Call centre/contact centre background beneficial- OR telephony experience combined with strong customer service skills- Excellent verbal and written communication- Someone who thrives in a fun, dynamic environment
So, what does our Home Claims department do?
The Home Claims team support and assist our customers when they need us the most by proactively managing a portfolio of home claims cases.
Day to day you will be:
Managing and owning the customer experience- Gathering information to enable early arrival at the correct policy decision- Negotiating between the policy holder, solicitors and third parties to get the best outcome for our customers- Identifying potentially fraudulent cases and liaise with the department to combat fraud- Managing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
