We’re always keen to make a great first impression here at GXO and are on the lookout for a warm and welcoming **receptionist** to be the face of GXO at our fantastic multi-contract site at Grange Park in **Northampton**.
Providing a professional customer service experience to both visitors and employees alike, the purpose of the role is to be the first point of contact for all incoming customers and visitors alongside supporting to the HR team in respect of administrative tasks.
This is a permanent, full-time position, where you’ll be working Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 office hours.
**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of **£**25,000** per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- Greet guests and issue/collect visitor passes as appropriate
- Take phone calls and transfer as appropriate, taking messages and monitoring the absence line
- Arranging catering and refreshments for meetings
- Provide administration support to HR/Payroll including but not limited to scanning paperwork/archiving files
- Updating and distributing the telephone list and Fire Registers
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:
- Experience in a customer-facing role, past Receptionist experience is preferred
- Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels
- Understanding of Microsoft software, in particular, Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
