**The role**

Orbit is delighted to announce that we are recruiting a Team Lead for our Impact and Performance team, sitting within our Thriving Communities department. Joining as a Team Lead, you’ll bring previous team management experience within a fast paced, varied environment, and be passionate about upskilling and mentoring individuals, whilst working cross functionally with internal departments, monitoring and measuring data and reporting on impact and performance.

This service plays a crucial role in supporting our customers within their communities at a local level, providing support in areas such as finance, health, wellbeing, and many others. This role is part of Customer & Communities Directorate, where you'll help us to lead the way in keeping our promise to more than 100,000 customers.

**What you'll achieve**
- You’ll manage a team of Impact & Performance Coordinators and Admin & Communication Officers, to ensure the customer support programmes we run are well monitored and compliant, supporting the delivery of successful internal audits.
- Oversee data collection and evaluation processes whilst maintaining quality assurance including better verification to support quantitative and qualitative data analysis and improve the quality of our evidence.
- Support the Impact & Performance team with producing high quality quarterly and annual impact reports including accessible and engaging outputs visualisation e.g. graphs.
- Lead internal partnerships to ensure customer referral routes and customer support journeys are joined up and that data sharing is adequately and safely managed.
- Maintain records and monitoring systems and produce reports as requested to demonstrate the outcomes of the Impact and Performance Team and wider Thriving Communities Impact measurements.

**What you'll bring**

**Essential skills**
- Critical thinking and strong analytical skills.
- Report writing and reporting to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management. Experience in contract governance, risk, compliance and GDPR also.
- Experience of designing and implementing data collection and evaluation processes.
- Self-motivated, organised, proactive, and driven individual who can work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Demonstrable experience of managing successful teams.
- This role covers Orbit nationally, so occasional travel across sites and some overnight stays will be required. Driving license and access to a vehicle is required also.

**Desirable**:

- Contract management and partnership experience.
