**Contributions Lineage Clerk**

**14 Month FTC**

Our Finance Teams: Our Finance team has a large part to play in the success of our business. We are based across a few locations, but operate as one team, and work together to create a positive, productive and highly efficient finance department within News UK.

**Your role**: Main focus for your role is ensuring accuracy when allocating lineage and picture payments and dealing with queries with the Business and Contributors concisely and professionally. This is a very busy role and requires someone who is personable and used to working in a fast paced environment, who has strong prioritisation and leadership skills. The team are an enthusiastic, motivated and collaborative group of people, sociable with a strong team spirit.

**Day to day you will**
- Be Responsible for lineage and picture payments
- Upload all Broadcasting Talent payments
- Maintain payment models used for lineage & pictures
- Liaise with Editorial desks daily to resolve payment queries
- Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders
- Work closely with Commissioning Editors to ensure smooth payment process
- Assist Finance Analyst with data queries
- Report
- Manage various mailboxes
- Adhoc queries / duties
- Monthly Editorial visits to the London Office

**What we are looking for from you**
- Good excel skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Accurate and a good attention to detail
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Multiskilled across Editorial and Broadcasting to provide cover as and when required
- We use SAP, ECS and TM1 previous experience of using these systems would be useful but not essential
- Passionate about the work you do, embracing every opportunity to do your best work
- Principled in the way you go about your role and the decisions you make
