RECEPTION AND ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR - £21,000 per year
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. (Hours vary between 8:30 am
- 5:30pm, with an alternate Friday working 6:30am - 3:30pm)
We are an established family run company and are currently recruiting for an experienced Receptionist and Accounts Administrator to join our business. The successful person will be the sole point of contact for most of the administration for the business.
Preferably, you should have experience in a diverse administrative role within a small business. We are seeking someone who is self-assured in their abilities, a collaborative team player, and capable of working independently. Your tasks may range from processing invoices and reconciling sales to handling phone calls and preparing client contracts on any given day. In exchange, we offer a competitive salary, 28 days of holidays (inclusive of bank holidays), flexible start and finish times, and complimentary on-site parking.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Data entry - Recording client and supplier detailsDiary coordination - Scheduling meetings, hotel bookings, management of the training room diary for Rad-Equip and arranging training sessions for consultants-
Account administration - Performing basic bookkeeping tasks such as generating invoices, quotes, and logging bills on Xero, and maintaining communication with clients and suppliers for status updatesContract administration - Preparing client contracts and correspondence and communicating with clients to verify progressGeneral office management - Includes minute-taking during meetings, document updates and revisions, mailing, and filingCreation and distribution of regular mail shots and newsletters to customersFacility upkeep / housekeeping, opening premises
Person Specification
- Strong organisational skills, maintaining close attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience in similar role
- Experience in using bespoke accounts management systems i.e. Xero
- Valid driving licence and own transport
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
