**Salary**:Basic depending on experience - £50 000 - £70 000 + Commission -5% of New Business won (uncapped) OTE + Renewal OTE

Timely Recruit is recruiting on behalf of an **International/ Global Energy, Sustainability and Technology Consultancy due to growth.**

The business is now looking to enhance the UK Energy Team with an experienced Business Development professional to win new business.

The client is looking to hire someone who has worked for an **Energy Consultancy, TPI or Energy Broker.**
- _To self-generate a book of new business in the UK Energy sector _
- _Sell_ a suite of consulting, sustainability, and proprietary technology services.
- This role will involve promoting and selling a global service offering to international prospects, whilst coordinating the delivery of agreed scopes of service to existing clients.

**Our client is looking for someone who has contacts with LARGE Energy I&C accounts - and not the small or mid-market area.
- **Experience in the Energy sector - ideally an Energy Consultancy**:

- Generate a book of new business in the international I&C sector to deliver the team’s sales plan of Consulting, Sustainability and Proprietary Technology services.
- To generate your own leads through networking, prospecting and developing strategic referral relationships.
- Sales forecasting, growth plans and weekly/monthly management information.
- Direct the global/regional purchasing strategy for your existing clients.
- Ensure all cross and upsell opportunities are sourced and sold.

**Professional and Personal Attributes**

**Experience in the Energy sector - ideally an Energy Consultancy**
- As the Energy - Client Relationship Manager you need to have excellent verbal communication skills, commercial awareness and to be highly numerate.
- This role requires someone who is hardworking and self-motivated with the confidence and ambition to deliver success to both yourself and the group as a whole.
- Business development experience - experience in acquiring new business and some account management.
- An in depth understanding of Energy flexible purchasing (procurement) /risk management strategies is Highly Desirable.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Energy Procurement experience - Desirable
