Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Business Administrator, on a rolling 12-month contract, to join a multinational, automotive manufacturer based in Oxford.

**Location**:Oxford

**Pay rate**: £23.80ph

**Standard working hours**: Monday - Thursday 07:30am - 4pm and Friday 07:30am - 12:30pm

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Use inhouse IT systems to process order requests from the team for technical equipment, services, calibration, and office supplies and confirm delivery of orders.
- Maintain records for individual orders.
- Liaise with Accounts department to ensure payment of invoices.
- Maintain electronic folder structure to ensure compliance with quality policies.
- Comply with data retention policies.
- Maintain records of specialist equipment and ensure review of details in conjunction with equipment owner to schedule.
- Organise the service and calibration of specialist equipment.
- Potential to support with general basic technical tasks.
- Transport samples between different business locations as required.
- Complete general administration tasks.
- Complete all work in accordance with procedures and risk assessments.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of processes and working practice.
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or at least one year experience within Business Administration.
- Good organisation skills required including the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Good IT skills essential, including proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong team player that is self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy, and conscientious.
- Flexible attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and problem solve.
- Capable of working alone or in a multi-functional team.
- Willingness and ability to learn technical terms.
- Willingness to develop and adopt new initiatives.
- German language desirable.
- Must have Valid UK driving licence.
