**The Part You’ll Play as HR Administrator**
You’ll bring energy and enthusiasm to support in the delivery of a proactive and efficient administration and support service to the People team and wider agency employees. You’ll proactively support in the delivery of the administration within the team, and we will rely on you to make sure we deliver on all our promises to our colleagues, on time, and to a super standard.

**What you’ll be doing**:
**General HR Administration
- Alongside the HR Coordinator, prepare HR documentation in line with our HR processes.
- Complete necessary internal forms and liaise with appropriate departments, e.g. IT and finance, to ensure all systems are in place for employee lifecycle events.
- Ownership of the offboarding process, ensuring processes are followed and employees receive an excellent offboarding experience
- Supporting in the management of employee files, both hard and soft copies in line with GDPR legislation.
- Track all documents and ensure all files are up-to-date
- Be responsible for the administration of our work experience programme, liaising with internal departments and generating paperwork.
- Regular upkeep of HR systems (HR Link/Peoplesoft, TeamSeer & Wellbeing Platforms) ensuring changes are made in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure the relevant sections of the intranet are accurate and updated regularly.
- Assist in the coordination of internal and external training courses where required.
- Assist the HR team with ad hoc projects and duties as needed.
- Request and provide references in a timely manner and chase where necessary.
- Raise purchase orders for invoices and credit card purchases and reconcile the monthly statement.
- Follow and seek improvement for our HR processes, ensuring all stakeholders deliver to their process step so we are audit compliant.
- Support in the production of ad hoc reports using our HR systems, for a variety of stakeholders.
- Maintain an awareness of HR best practice at all times.

**Self Development
- Assume joint responsibility with Line Manager (HR Advisor) for regularly reviewing performance and personal development.
- Demonstrate a positive, solutions orientated attitude.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties as assigned by their Manager from time to time.

**What we’re looking for in the HR Administrator**:

As this is a maternity cover, you should be able to pick up a range of administrative tasks, processes and systems quickly. You should therefore be able to demonstrate strong experience within an administration background.

Additionally you’ll be able to demonstrate:

- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- Ability to demonstrate a professional, confident and ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong organisational and time management skills - this is a busy role and the ability to manage a high-volume workload is essential
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
- Excellent IT skills with a very high degree of accuracy
- The ability to act with tact and discretion at all times, whilst maintaining departmental confidentiality and remaining approachable and helpful
