As a HR Assistant, you will assist with the group HR functions, including recruitment, training and development, employee relations and employee engagement.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

- Assist with group wide recruitment, including writing job adverts and interviewing
- Provide administration support to the HR department, adhering to company policies and procedure
- To build own employment law knowledge to be able to provide basic first line advice.
- Assist with employee relations throughout the group
- Assist with payroll
- Assist with in-house training sessions, including induction sessions
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Attend in-house meetings as and when required
- To assist with managing staff uniform and name badge orders
- To act as note-taker in meetings as required
- To act as initial point of contact for all colleagues and to establish content of their enquiry and then either assisting or referring to the HR manager as required
- To regularly update the staff notice-board to reflect current hotel and company communications
- Monitor the use of FLOW and to keep the training app updated, reporting findings to the HR Manager as required
- Attend to ad hoc requests from the Cluster HR Manager/ HR Manager/ HR Administrator in a timely and polite manner
- Understand other departments needs and the implications to your own
- To be friendly and courteous to staff, management and guests at all times.
- To attend training courses and meetings as requested.
- To carry out any other duties reasonably requested of you by Senior Management and General Management
