Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Associate to join our vibrant Talent Management team at IPG Health Medical Communications.
About the Role
As an HR Associate, you will provide guidance to line managers on HR policies, employment legislation, performance management, and family rights. You will also be responsible for managing employee relation matters, supporting the team in resolving issues, and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and Support: Provide expert advice to line managers on HR policies, employment legislation, performance management, and family rights.
- Policy & Compliance: Collaborate with senior HR colleagues to ensure all employee relation matters are handled professionally and in line with legal standards.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relation matters, support the team in resolving issues, and promote a positive work environment.
- Employment Changes: Review, oversee, and advise on requests to change terms and conditions of employment, such as flexible working.
- Career & Feedback: Conduct career check-in meetings, providing valuable feedback to support employee development.
- Exit Processes: Conduct insightful exit interviews with departing employees, delivering feedback to managers and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Talent Management: Assist in the coordination and delivery of the annual talent management and performance review cycles.
Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 Qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Analytical skills and a keen eye for working with data to support HR decision-making.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach.
