**PMLD Support Assistant**

Location: Bromsgrove, Birmingham

Duration: Full time, on going

**Salary**: £75 - 85 per day

**The School/role**:
An amazing school in Bromsgrove, Birmingham are currently looking for a fulltime PMLD support assistant to work within one of their many classes. The school is a community special school with students with cognition and learning difficulties in addition to physical disabilities and complex health needs. They aim to provide a secure environment where all the children's individual needs are recognised and catered for.

The school require someone committed to the teaching assistant role as they need consistency for the children, in return the school will offer all the support and additional training you may need.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
- PMLD, SLD and Complex needs experience
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent school based references
- Valid Photo ID - Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS - on the update service
