Job Title: Kitchen Support Assistant
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality meals to residents in a care home while maintaining exceptional standards of food hygiene and safety.
- Act as a key link between the main kitchen and residents, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Assist chefs with meal preparation and presentation, taking ownership of menu planning and stock management.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement efficient stock rotation practices, adhering to company guidelines.
- Support catering for special events, working closely with the event team to deliver memorable experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or related field
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and relevant industry certifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work under pressure
- Flexible working patterns, including evenings and weekends
