Job Description:

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will provide vital support to a young lady with Autism and learning difficulties, enabling her to participate fully in community activities. Your duties will include accessing the community for leisure activities such as swimming, visiting parks, and enjoying meals out.

Key Tasks:
  1. Support the service user to access the community, promoting independence and social interaction.
  2. Assist with personal care tasks, including showering, eating, and laundry, as required.
Requirements:
  • You must have experience working with individuals with Autism and learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and social skills are essential for building strong relationships with our service users.
  • A reliable and punctual approach is crucial for this role, as you will be supporting the service user during community activities.
