About the Position:

We are looking for a Personal Care Coordinator to join our team at Pick for Britain. This role involves providing support to a young lady with Autism and learning difficulties, enabling her to live independently and participate fully in community life.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate community activities, including swimming, parks visits, and meals out, to promote independence and social interaction.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including showering, eating, and laundry, as required.
Requirements:
  • You must have experience working with individuals with Autism and learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and social skills are essential for building strong relationships with our service users.
  • A reliable and punctual approach is crucial for this role, as you will be supporting the service user during community activities.
Work Arrangements:

This part-time role involves 15 hours of work over 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) between 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM, with occasional evenings. We estimate the salary for this role to be around £14-16 per hour, based on a 35-hour working week.
