ABC Teachers is a leading education recruitment and supply agency committed to supporting the learning and development of young people with special educational needs. We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a well-established SEN school in Bromsgrove.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and caring teaching assistant to work alongside a teacher and additional support staff to support children with profound and multiple learning difficulties in a classroom setting. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities, and will be able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

The school caters to students with a range of special educational needs, including severe learning difficulties and profound and multiple learning difficulties. They are focused on supporting students to achieve their full potential through learning, personal care, and living skills.

Requirements

  • A suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • Experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is dependent on experience, training or qualifications, with a minimum requirement of a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs. The estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£35,000 per annum.
