**About the Role**:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our busy HR function at Taste Original. The HR Administrator will be responsible for the provision of proactive administrative support to the HR Team, Managers and Colleagues across our business, ensuring the highest level of HR service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administering new starter / leaver processes including contracts, new starter documents, arranging inductions, resignation acknowledgements, arranging exit interviews etc
- Providing Colleagues with accurate Terms and Conditions and updates
- Ensuring provision of accurate timely information to Payroll
- Ensuring completion of probationary reviews, sending congratulation letters, escalating follow up actions
- Supporting the HR Team with absence management administration
- Supporting administration of Occupational Health services (OH) and wellbeing initiatives
- Recruitment administration
- Maintaining and updating Company computer systems (Actin Time, Signable, ZWAPP)
- Supporting preparation of disciplinary / grievance packs and note taking at meetings as necessary
- Administration of employee engagement survey and supporting engagement activities
- Updating policies, procedures, template tools and process flows as required
- Supporting the HR Team with tasks and escalating matters to relevant team member as necessary
- Maintaining the HR filing systems / records
- Dealing with general enquiries and HR administration as required
- Covering for the Junior HR Advisor and occasional break and absence cover for Reception

**About the Person**:

- Previous experience of HR administration essential
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals
- Able to thrive within a manufacturing or similar fast-paced and changing environment
- Experience of advising and supporting Managers and Colleagues with foundation level people queries
- Proactive, positive approach with true customer focus
- Understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Highly organised and able to work to deadlines and changing priorities
- Conscientious, self-motivated with the ability to act on own initiative but seek advice when necessary
- Excellent attention to detail with a right first-time attitude
- Work well within a team
- Experience of working with HR / Time and Attendance Systems and proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Formal HR qualifications are not required, however, the desire to learn and a proactive approach to managing your own development is essential
