Office Administrator Apprentice

PETA Ltd are looking for a fantastic Office Administrator Apprentice for our client SBS. Do you see yourself joining a friendly, welcoming team? You will learn a variety of skills and be supported throughout your apprenticeship in a positive office environment.
This opportunity will allow you to have a real role, with responsibilities, whilst training for a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship, 10 days training provided at PETA training centre in Cosham.
Working closely with the Sales Coordinator, you will carry out lots of administration tasks, that are important for the day to day running of the office at SBS. Customer service will be a part of this role and therefore your communication skills will be required, this will also be improved throughout to ensure you are giving high quality customer service.
**About The Role**:
There will be a range of responsibilties & duties as shown below:
**Customer service & communication**:
- Answering the phone in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively and confidently
- Sending statements to customers
**Administrative & purchasing duties**:
- Trained on a system called ‘Odoo’ to ensure all information is correct and updated, adusting stock and entering data
- Producing dispatch spreadsheet on Excel
- Raising manufacturing orders and issuing to appropriate people, also closing down orders when required
- Sample request BOM loading
- Chasing purchase orders, goods received no invoice and opening mail
- General admin duties such as scanning, filing and adhoc orders on amazon/Lyreco
You will be expected to identify continuous improvement, follow company policies, operate safely within health & safety requirements and exercise a duty of risk-based thinking.
There will be additional duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 13:00 (39 hours per week)
