Clerical Officer

We are seeking 2 great team players who can work to a high professional standard to join the Scheduling Team at Leeds Children’s Hospital. The post holder will assist in the co-ordination and the provision of an effective and efficient clerical service within the Children’s CSU and will be responsible for arranging the surgical admissions for a number of specialties within Leeds Children’s Hospital.
The successful applicants should possess good organisational and communication skills, and be computer literate.
Applicants should have previous administration and clerical experience, NHS experience is desirable but not essential, and be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent).
This post is based in a busy, friendly department, and you will be expected to prioritise your work load and undertake multiple tasks. The ability to work using your own initiative but also as part of a team is essential.
This is a full time post. 37.5 hours a week Monday - Friday.

If you are offered a position, you may be required to undertake a DBS. The Trust will administer the check on your behalf & will recover the cost (Enhanced £48 or Standard £30) from your salary over a 3 month period (including Internal staff). You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service & pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment. DBS checks for volunteers are free.
