**Background**:
The EDI Administrator and Coordinator is a pivotal appointment within the new Office for Institutional Equity & Inclusion, which is part of the President’s Office. Led by the Assistant Vice-President (EDI) and the Head of EDI, the Office for Institutional Equity & Inclusion is a single University-wide unit actively and passionately transforming our organisational culture and supporting the progression and success of our staff and students. You will support this ambition by providing the EDI team with high quality administrative support.

**Responsibilities**:
You will work pro-actively and harmoniously with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure that administrative activities are executed meticulously and efficiently. You will manage the co-ordination and administration of EDI events and training, working in partnership with the EDI Team and Staff Networks, maintaining the EDI webpages and managing the team inbox; acting as the first point of contact for enquiries. You will ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining necessary records and updating the budget spreadsheet. Minute taking and servicing of EDI team meetings and other committees is required.

**Person Specification**:
We seek someone with excellent administrative experience**_ _**and a keen eye for detail. Experience of collaborative working with staff across all levels, providing admin support for projects & events, working with different systems, maintaining a records database and running reports is key to this role. You will have a keen interest in EDI, possess excellent communication and customer service skills and demonstrate the ability to organise your time and workload, juggling competing priorities and working to deadlines.
