The African Cities Research Consortium (ACRC) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Projects and Events Administrator to join our team.

ACRC is a collaborative research programme seeking to tackle complex urban development challenges in Africa's rapidly changing cities. Funded by FCDO, ACRC aims to generate robust insights and evidence that will help improve living conditions and urban services for all city residents, especially disadvantaged communities.

The ACRC Projects and Events Administrator is a key role providing diverse administrative and events support to ACRC. Duties include:

- Booking travel and accommodation
- Ordering goods and services via iProc
- Organising online, hybrid and in-person meetings and events (in the UK and abroad)
- Servicing meetings and following up on actions
- Managing the CEO’s diary
- Supporting general administrative processes associated with HR and recruitment, fees and expenses, contracting, estates etc.
- Maintaining ACRC trackers and management information tools (e.g. asset register)
- Managing ACRC shared directories (in MS Teams) in line with GDPR

This role sits within our Manchester-based operations team (consisting of two International Projects Managers; a Finance Officer; and the Operations Manager). It will also require interacting with other departments at the University and with colleagues across the international ACRC network.
