We are looking for a self-motivated person with the desire to learn and develop new skills, to join our Counter Fraud Unit. Whether you have always liked the idea of a career in fraud investigation or have an established career in claims or policy, this is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to use their naturally investigative nature in their day to day work, where they will be fully trained to use that ‘gut feeling’ to help identify motor fraud.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Taking ownership of and reviewing fraud referrals from Brokers, Suppliers, and internal handling Teams, as well as automated fraud prevention systems.
- Acting as a referral point for fraud related related queries across the group.
- Carrying out desktop searches and enquiries to determine proven and potential fraudulent cases, as well as providing recommendations for further enquiries to be made.
- Communicating with internal and external customers
- Contribute towards Somerset Bridge Annual Fraud Savings
- Maintain accurate records on various databases
- Actively take responsibility for the identification of claims and policy fraud trends, fraud operations and promoting fraud awareness across the Group.

**Required Knowledge and Skills**
- Investigative skills with a knowledge of insurance fraud and other forms of financial crime.
- Working knowledge of GDPR and Proceeds of Crime Act
- Excellent customer service and call handling skills with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work well as part of a team or as an individual.
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach.
- Ability to work pro-actively towards individual and team KPIs and Objectives
- Ownership of own workload.
