**Job summary**:
The Public Sector Fraud Authority (PSFA) is the UK government’s Centre of Expertise for the management of fraud and associated error against the public sector. It leads the Government’s Counter Fraud Function, which brings together the c.16,000 people who work in ministerial departments and public bodies to fight fraud. The PSFA sits at the heart of government, reporting to HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office; sharing best practice across the public sector including devolved administrations and local governments.

We are looking for a learning and development practitioner with counter fraud experience, particularly in fraud control (risk, loss measurement and prevention) and/or investigation/intelligence.
You will be passionate about increasing public sector capability, and share our desire to take innovative approaches to learning-related activities. Working across multiple organisations, both within the public sector and beyond, you will have the ability to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders.
The role includes working with a team of fraud learning specialists. It is interesting, demanding and time bound. If you enjoy taking ownership of your own work, communicating proactively and supporting the development of others then we’d love to hear from you
**Person specification**:
**Key deliverables and responsibilities of these posts will include**:
- Supporting the design and delivery of learning for all areas of the Government Counter Fraud Profession (GCFP).
- Contributing to the GCFP’s interaction with the wider counter fraud function regarding learning and development activity, including working closely with other parts of the public and private sectors to understand future requirements.
- Providing data and information for the GCFP Board to enhance counter fraud capability across the public sector, including the development and implementation of new policies, frameworks, learning pathways and continual professional development processes to meet GCFP standards.
- Providing input into learning and development to increase functional capability in counter fraud, and developing/embedding assessment processes by which members can enter the GCFP as a result of training and/or meeting the criteria.
- Supporting the development/implementation of robust accreditation and assurance processes to enable the GCFP to endorse learning, accredit providers and issue qualifications through an approved Awarding Body.
- Duties within the scope of the grade and within the limits of their skill, competence and training. The post holder may also be required to carry out responsibilities at a higher level including in deputising for the senior product and performance leads.
- Travel to other PSFA locations (Glasgow, London, Newcastle, York) will be required.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Experience of working in a counter fraud, economic crime or anti bribery and corruption environment, as a learning specialist and facilitator. (**Lead criteria**)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience of engaging on a cross government basis or in a variety of sectors.
- Strong prioritisation, planning and delivery skills in steering multiple pieces of work to a successful conclusion.
- Comfortable working at pace and able to set clear plans whilst managing competing priorities.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills, able to communicate complex information succinctly.
- Excellent IT literacy including the use of the Google Suite.
- Ability to work with accuracy and close attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative, research to find solutions
