Asylum Welcome works with Oxford City Council to support refugees being resettled in the city under the U.K. Resettlememt Scheme and Afghan programmes. You will lead a team of staff and volunteers supporting familes who have recently arrived and who are planned to do so over coming years. Your teams will ensure housing is ready, give them a warm welcome and help them thrive in their new home. It will often involve working closely with education, health and other providers. You will manage several small subcontracts for specialist services, as well as ensure that the team works effectively and is accountable to familes and the council.
You will be an experienced manager who understands what resettlement and partnership working involves and who can get the best out of staff, volunteers and clients.
