**Hours of Work**:40 hours to include 0.5hr paid lunch (including some evening and weekend work)

**Contract**:Full-time permanent (part-time will be considered)

**Salary**:£25,000-£28,000, for full-time or pro-rata for part-time

**Holiday**: 20 days annual leave plus Public Holidays for full-time or pro-rata for part-time

**Overview**:
The Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Fundraising and Events Coordinator to join our team. This role will manage and proactively develop relationships with supporters - including community groups, corporate organisations, and individuals. The individual will organise and lead fundraising events and deliver outstanding stewardship focusing on the highest value and highest potential opportunities, to ensure sustainable long-term income. This will include seeking out new opportunities alongside carrying out and coordinating efficient administration.

It is an exciting time to join the Fundraising Team and to play a key role by helping to raise the final £250,000 necessary to complete the project. Once the new hospice is built, the role will develop as fundraising will continue to support the delivery of palliative and end-of-life care.

**Main Duties**

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**

Working closely with the Head of Community Fundraising and Communications to:
**500 Club**:

- Administer the 500 Club by supporting existing members and onboarding new members.
- Support the development and delivery of the annual income targets in relation to 500 Club and community fundraising income.
- Monitor the annual income targets for the 500 club ensuring timely payments.
- Ensure all groups use their association with the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity appropriately, adhering to the established Brand Guidelines, including the correct use of logos and approved messaging.

**Events**:

- Planning and delivery of Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity’s events in line with the charity’s business plan (these maybe outside of normal office hours)
- Liaising with suppliers, supporters and sponsors regarding sponsorship and donations, for example collecting fundraising donations, arranging, and attending presentations and collating individual and community ‘stories’ for marketing and communications.
- Coordinating and supporting the development of fundraising initiatives (in aid of events) from 3rdparty’s including representing the charity at events when required.
- Work with communications and marketing colleagues to promote products, events, and campaigns to community supporters across the region.
- Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to identify, support and motivate volunteers to undertake fundraising and awareness activities.

**General fundraising**
- Support the development of fundraising and volunteer materials for community supporters. This will include writing, collating, and editing copy, proof reading; and liaising with external suppliers involved in the production of supporter communications.
- Work with colleagues to ensure the recording of associated community income on the CRM database and reporting to senior management and Trustees.
- Produce further reports on fundraising events and stewardship performance; monitor financial and non-financial KPIs.
- Manage and develop relationships with supporters, delivering excellent levels of supporter stewardship, to ensure the maximum potential is achieved through all engagements.
- Work with supporters and listen to feedback to help maximise fundraising and find future opportunities.
- Maintain and enhance Priscilla Bacon Hospice’s reputation by representing the charity externally at supporter events, often involving networking and delivering presentations.
- Manage the distribution and collection of the charity collection tins and QR. Generate a process/ procedure to improve this income stream.
- Ensure confidentiality and best practice is adhered to throughout all work in line with Charity policies and procedures.
- Adherence to the Fundraising Regulator Code of Conduct.
- Awareness of data protection legislation.
- Maintain effective relationships with agencies and suppliers.

**Additional general responsibility**

All staff should actively promote the core values of Priscilla Bacon Norfolk Hospice Care whilst working towards achieving the strategic objectives of the Charity.
