Norwich, United Kingdom Cycling UK Full time

**Cycling development officer - Norfolk and Kings Lynn**
Location: Home-based in Norfolk, with frequent travel between Norwich and Kings Lynn
Contract: Full time (37.5hrs per week), fixed term contract until 31 March 2024.

**Salary**: £24,840 - £27,600 per annum

Would you like to work within an innovative and engaging organisation that is working towards bettering the lives of others through cycling?

Cycling UK is proud to represent the voice of its 70,000+ members and many more to ensure everyone can realise a better world by bike. We have a loud voice to lobby government, campaign for improved rights and inspire millions more people to cycle. We know that within our community, the way in which individuals want to engage with us is broad. For many it's as simple as maximising the benefits of our membership to get the most out of their time on their bike but for some, it's also about giving back, and creating the right conditions for other people to thrive on their bikes for future generations.

**The role**

As a cycling development officer, you will be tasked to deliver The Big Bike Revival and Community Cycle clubs programme across Norfolk, with a focus on establishing activity in Kings Lynn and helping to sustain activity across the county. You will work with a range of stakeholders in Norfolk who have an interest in, or an affiliation to cycling and active travel. This could include, but is not limited to, bike re-cycle centres, social enterprises and established not for profit organisations. Groups will be consulted and supported to create new cycling activities or to incorporate cycling as part of their existing service offering.

Focus on gearing your supporting statement to exemplify how your skills and experience match the requirements of the role, directly referring to the person specification. This enables the selection panel to assess your relative strengths against the specified criteria.

If you think that this describes you and you are excited by the prospect of joining our team, please do get in touch to find out more.

Applications will close at 09:00am on 16 July 2023, and interviews will take place the week commencing 24th July.

You may also have experience in the following: Development Officer, Fundraiser, Fundraising, Charity, Not for Profit, Third Sector, Fundraising Development Officer, Business Development, Legacy, Charities, Fundraising Assistant, Fundraising Officer, Events Officer, Events Assistant, Charity Worker, Charity Fundraiser, Charity Fundraising Officer, etc.
