Red Rock Consultants are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Assistant to work with a principal construction contractor based out of Stockport.

**Type**:Permanent contract

**Salary**:Up to 30k (DOE)

As they continue to expand their portfolio, they are seeking a Health & Safety Assistant to join their dynamic team.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for recording and acknowledging all health & safety queries or concerns, tracking and monitoring progress against actions.
- Maintaining information in a confidential manner, adhering to GDPR.
- Providing administrative support to the Health & Safety Manager and Project Managers.
- Assisting Site Management teams as and when required with the Health & Safety Manager.
- Monitoring health & safety software systems and reporting any concerns to the Health & Safety and Project Managers.
- Complete health & Safety audits as and when required.
- Monitor RIDDOR reporting, advising HSE as appropriate within strict deadlines.
- Review site specific risk assessments and method statements.
- Keeping all health and safety records, training records and certificates up to date.
- Assisting the Health & Safety Manager with the renewal of company accreditations.
- Reviewing all health and safety records, identify trends and analyse to support the company with continuous development.
- Monitor, record, and retrieve relevant documentation to formulate the Operating and Maintenance Manuals in preparation for practical completion.
- Checking all relevant site documentation has been completed through regular checks.
- Keeping all site documentation up to date, including scanning of documentation at the end of each project.
- Assisting with renewal of company accreditations.

**Skills / Knowledge / Experience**:

- IOSH / NEBOSH
- Full Driving License
- IT Skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Good communication both verbal and written.
- Prioritisation
- Experience working in the construction sector

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
