**Prescription Administrator - Leeds based**

**Optimum Medical** manufacture high quality urology products which are included on the NHS Drug Tariff for supply on prescription to customers. Own brand products include Optimum Medical, Hunter and Nexus.
Our service, **Vyne **is a Dispensing Appliance Contractor, providing discreet and confidential NHS services, supplying medical appliances directly to customers upon receipt of prescriptions for Drug Tariff items. The role of Prescription Administrator sits within the Customer Care team. Managing prescriptions includes requesting and dispensing NHS prescriptions on behalf of patients/customers acting as the customer advocate.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Prescription processing, matching electronic and paper prescriptions against customers orders, endorsing and dispensing the prescriptions ready for payment by the NHS.
- Process all prescriptions adhering to dispatch deadlines
- Dealing with prescription queries or requesting urgent prescriptions by contacting the customers G.P. Surgery.
- Chasing G.P. Surgeries and other prescribers for outstanding prescriptions to ensure the customer have continuity of stock.
- Work inline with data protection and confidentiality
- Assist in all aspects of Prescription Management
- Work collaboratively with the wider team
**Skills/Experience required**
- Attention to detail to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Data inputting skills
- Ability to multitask and use various systems
- Can work in a fast paced environment
- Passionate about customer service
