This diverse role is particularly suited to an adaptable and articulate individual with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn and ability to multi-task in a busy environment. Day-to-day you will utilise your varied skills to provide general administrative duties and facilities management support, ensuring the smooth running of our growing firm. A personable demeanour is key as responsibilities include being the first point of contact within the practice, meeting and greeting clients, answering calls, diary management as well as handling confidential data. With a collaborative outlook on all tasks, you will be eager to support business needs.

**Key skills**:

- Proven administrative experience preferably within professional services or similar
- Superb written and verbal communication
- Understanding of responsibility of handling confidential and sensitive information
- Comfortable working independently and with initiative
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Appreciation of the challenges of a business working across multiple locations including some home workers
- Excellent attention to detail

**Key responsibilities**:

- Meeting and greeting clients
- Answering and directing calls for all offices through central phone system including inbound call logging
- Providing excellent administration support to the Business
- Managing, scanning and distribution of mail for the Wakefield practice
- Importing client files onto relevant software
- General administration including scanning, copying, filing etc.
- Diary management including scheduling of meetings, appointments
- Meeting room management and set up
- General facilities management and upkeep
- Office supplies management: replenishment of stationery, print supplies and the weekly supermarket delivery order
- Willingness and ability to be agile and adapt and learn new skills
- Willingness to travel to our York office to provide support as required
