**UK Based Applicants Residential Children's Support Worker**

**£10.75-11.40 per hour, 40 hours week** plus additional payment for sleeps
**Full Time, Permanent Role**

As Residential Children's Support Worker you will assist in day-to-day support and care for young people in the home. You will maintain a high-quality standard of care to ensure the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the young person are met. You will provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which the children can feel secure and develop their potential within.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor young persons as directed
- Protect and safeguard children
- Maintain a safe environment that complies with Health and safety and other legal requirements
- Undertake domestic tasks such as shopping, food preparation, cooking and cleaning
- Assist young individuals in the development of independence skills
- Develop an appropriate understanding of each individuals needs in other to meet them as part of their care planning process
- Communicate with other team members and maintain a good working relationship with other team members

To be considered for this role you must obtain a NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and have a valid UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle. Will be required to complete sleep ins at £50 per sleep and works on a shift pattern basis. The shifts are 5:2 and 2:4.
