**Services Administrative Officer**:
**Full / Part Time**:Up to 37.5hours
First Steps ED is an evidence-based charity based in the Midlands whose impact is much wider dedicated to supporting individuals and their families impacted by eating disorders. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administrative Officer to join our multidisciplinary team. This role will provide essential administrative assistance across various areas within the organisation, including supporting the administrative lead with the management of Peer Support Workshops and Guided Self-Help services, and analysis and reporting of impact and outcomes. Additionally, the role will involve general office duties including engaging with our clients and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our charity.
**What will the role involve?**
- **Support the service leads.**:
- **Workshop Management**: Provide administrative support for our workshops, including organising participant registration, liaising with workshop facilitators, preparing materials, and ensuring smooth logístical arrangements.
- **Collaborative Support**:Work closely with other team members to provide administrative support in various areas, as needed, fostering a positive and cooperative working environment.
- **Manage referrals from our NHS partners.**:
- First point of contact and allocating the service user to the relevant staff member and updating the database.
- **Analysis and reporting** working in support of service line managers.
**What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?**
- Previous experience in an administrative business support role is preferred.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Sensitivity and empathy towards individuals affected by eating disorders is highly valued.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure when required.
**Qualifications**:
- GCSE grades A to C minimum.
